Location
As in real estate, the most important thing is “location, location, location”. If we’re in the company offices, we’ll choose the place with the most traffic. For example, in a project we did for Migdal company, we launched the “Open Skies” campaign. An end-of-year sales campaign for marketers, where those who meet the target are rewarded with flight tickets for a dream vacation in magical Zanzibar. We set up the photo wall with all the styling right at the entrance to the marketers’ floor, so that no one who came to the office could miss the wall. Alternatively, if we’re at a conference or exhibition, we’ll try to find a central location with traffic, but also spacious and comfortable enough for people to wait for their photo. After all, we need some space to fix our bangs and adjust the flash!
The Wow Effect – Design, Video, and Styling.
So we’ve chosen a location, and now what? Well, of course, the wall must be powerful, cool, and one that everyone wants to stand and be photographed against. Beyond the crazy landscape picture in the background, it’s worth incorporating an embedded video screen. On the screen, we’ll combine a video loop in the background with sexy materials that will capture the viewer. In the “Open Skies” campaign, we edited a stunning video about Zanzibar, next to which we set up a bar table that served as a platform for more activities around the campaign. Cool styling details, from beach hats, flip-flops, pineapple sunglasses, and of course pineapples and coconuts upgraded the overall look. The small details are what get your audience into the atmosphere you want. Invest some thought, it will pay off.
Marketing Messages – Don’t Just Be Pretty, Speak Content!
Now that we have a concept for the wall and have chosen its location, let’s move on to the main course – the content. A beautiful photo is cool, but the brand spirit and messages must come across. A good example of a photo wall for events and organizations can be seen in the Tambour booth we produced at the Green Building Council conference. The Tambour Group has made an amazing change in recent years and is leading the greenest standard revolution in Israel in the field of construction and paint. To communicate this move, we created a photo wall from all of Tambour’s green materials, combining messages and even a magnetic chalkboard. Additionally, we used their materials to spread the message authentically, inviting conference guests to write something personal and communicate it to their audiences.
A photo wall is a full-fledged marketing tool; connecting it to messages and content will lead to increased engagement and high exposure for the brand
Interactivity
So you have a great photo wall, beautiful and stunning. You haven’t forgotten to include all your marketing messages, in an elegant way that works for you. But you’re missing one small thing. Interactivity – because dialogue and reciprocity are a huge bonus. So how do you do it? Cool accessories. Like the mustaches on sticks at every wedding – at business events, we’ll use inviting and light objects related to your content worlds. For example, the annual architects’ conference of the Israeli Design Forum. There, we produced a photo wall with 4 helmets painted in the event’s blue shade, which turned into a viral celebration full of lightness and humor. No guest missed the opportunity to take a photo with a special helmet and upload it to their Instagram or Facebook page. Interactivity is really a WIN-WIN.
Sharing and Distribution System
Everyone already knows that Sharing is Caring. So we have a wall with messages, and it’s interactive and stunning. Let’s help our customers share. The simple way is, of course, for everyone to take photos with their own camera, which is nice but we can do more. As part of producing a photo wall for events and organizations, there are systems that photograph guests and send the picture directly to their email with the option to share on Instagram or Facebook. If you want, you can also add a branded frame to the image with the company logo or main message. In short, a powerful tool for lead collection and high exposure for the brand and messages. After we’ve taken the photo, don’t forget to choose your hashtag, it can be the company name or the message you want to convey. Well, maybe we’ll dedicate a chapter to that later.
You’ve made it this far! That’s a sign. We’d be happy to share our inspiration board on Pinterest with the most amazing collection of photo walls you’ve ever seen!
